yes people, i would be more than happy to say that the article deludes you as to calm the wave of emotions i brave myself. but it is reeeaaaaaaaaal. fishing heaven, eh?
JPA and MARA are really closing our doors of possiblities. no matter how far it seems to be from our reach, but the idea of studying abroad is never impossible, reaching hands can still be stretched to embrace the star, right?
but now, how can the star be there if the galaxy is not even in sight?
how could they do that, is the question. i'm sure they are broke and these unfair decision is just to save their asses. or because Malaysia's universities and colleges are bringing together more ungrateful high and horny youths who stay up not to study but to party rather than seriously aspiring young people who graduate successfully and SAFELY.
therefore they decide to lock up all potentially outstanding students in our extremely great learning institutes. tp compensate for the failings of those who do not value the generosity of the institutes to accept some people who dont deserve the opportunity.
i dont just talk blindly, you dont believe me i suggest go read some newspapers.
my brothers studied in the States. i went there to watch them graduate one by one. i have been instilled with the impression of how great it is to be living abroad independently, really got the feeling of P. Ramlee's Dendang Perantau, experiencing the cultural difference, touching the snow with bare hands, joining Europe trip during summers, oh how i wish to do so.
during orientation week in MRSM Serting, we were asked why we applied for MRSM. the counselor handed me the mic, and i confidently answered "saya memang nak belajar dekat overseas, and MRSM buka peluang tu lagi luasla". i was 13, and i new what i want. heck, i knew it since i was three.
i am a government and daily school student now. everyone knows how boarding school students get the limelight first. sometimes even excellent gov kids are overshadowed by average SBP/MRSM kids. today, everything is worse than ever. most likely we gov students wont even be considered twice by Khazanah, Petronas, etc.
i know local education doesnt really suck, but i want something above ordinary.
and Malaysia IS ordinary.
my dream has perished.
its like you tell Rachel in Glee that she can't be a star.
