Can you imagine a day on which everyone wears hijab?
by everyone, yes, i mean muslims and non-muslims alike. of course, minus men (does it need to be explained?!) imagine no more! for tomorrow is the day and you can witness it with your own eyes! if only more people know about it and support it lah. know and support what you ask?
World Hijab Day!
i am sorry for updating this a little late on Keretapi, but i've already promoted this on fb like a week ago -
let's make this a reality ladies! muslims and non-muslims alike! this page is so cool, it even shares the experiences of non-muslims who try to wear hijab. cekidout!
"I am a non-Muslim that has chosen to dress modestly. To me, the hijab represents modesty, and spiritual devotion. I also feel very beautiful and even a bit empowered when I wear the hijab."
why for only one day, though?
"We invite Muslim Sisters who currently do not observe Hijab and also non-Muslim women to embrace Hijab just for the day... inviting and calling every Sister in Islam and humanity to DISCOVER Hijab."
it is beyond amazing to see hijab from a non-muslim's point of view, to think of hijab from a convert's perspective, to learn about these women who are being different in their environment, who are starting to practice Islam, a religion which is alien to their tradition.
why do i say so? because mostly, those who are keeping this campaign going are the westerners. but now, more and more people around the world are participating! the spirit they have to be in our shoes shows that their soul can still be purified, and Allah, to You i pray for their hidayah. the muslims and muallafs who live in countries in which the sight of hijab is something rare, yet they still wear it despite the opposite normality, the stares and the whispers, they are among those who do jihad the most.
if they can do it, why not us malaysian muslims? let this be the beginning of a hijab lifetime insyaallah <3 p="">
it's just amazeballs laaaa. look at em ere -
#1 "Dear sisters in Islam, if you lack the courage to wear hijab especially those who are reverts, ask Allah to provide you with the courage on a daily basis as I did. You will see that Allah will find the best way to give you courage and it will be tailored to your needs. Remember that if you feel alone in wearing hijab, the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), and the Prophet Abraham (PBUH) too were alone at one point. But you are not alone, because you have sisters all over the world who support you and love you. May Allah Subhana wa T'Allah empower you inshallah." - Suly EsclavadeAllah, California
#2 "As you know, I have been wearing the hijab for 8 days now and have been reading the Quran for about 3 or 4 days. It has brought me peace and a sense of belonging, and therefore I wanted you to be the first to know that at some stage in the near future, I will be converting to Islam and living my life as a Muslim." - Jesse Rhodes (you can read more here)
#3 "Even though I am a non-Muslim I believe in respecting all cultures, values and religions. Inshallah this special World Hijab Day will bring with it more cultural understanding and respect. A women who wears hijab or more is the most beautiful as she is purely trying to please God and no other :) x" - Nicola Di Carlo Creazioni
#4 "9 months after I converted, I realized that my beauty is a precious gift from God and should be protected, letting only my husband and family see me. So it was then when I decided to stop being afraid and start being proud of the woman God created. Alhumdulilah."
#5 "I am going to do this because I want to see what it is like to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. I think it will be a valuable life experience. I want to wear the hijab the way a proper Muslima would, so I have a question... Do I wear hijab if I go swimming at an all women's swimming pool?" - Jennifer Garrett (how cute)
it's so inspirational. to know that some, many in fact, non-muslims who still care, muslimahs who wish to start covering their hair. so i hope you (yes, YOUUU) can spread the word to your family members, friends and others, regardless of their religion.
to Malaysians who do not wear hijab, just think of our sisters around the world who do against all odds. we live in a muslim country, you can see little girls, teenagers, ladies, makciks and neneks covering their hair, everywhere. it is easier to change for the better here, isn't it? be thankful you were born in Malaysia, so make the best out of it. although i admit, the number of covered muslimahs should be higher. well, that's the whole point, aye?
to non-muslims who support this campaign, you have my utmost respect. for not being judgemental towards us, and for wanting to actually experience dealing with judgemental people. if you live in a muslim country, surely the prejudice is not as bad, your little experiment might be embraced instead. but you may have to face your family and friends, and i hope as how you can change your mindset of us, you can help them to change theirs as well. we're not forcing you to convert to Islam afterwards, not at all. it's just an opportunity for you to feel it in your own skin, firsthand, and the rest is up to you. if you can say "i feel you sis" after a day of wearing hijab, and see the beauty of Islam, then it's more than enough :)
sorry for the language, but this is what they have to face :\
while we're in this topic, let me show you a vid -
"i'm such a sinful person, and yet, Allah invited me to his house. i'm so close to him." i feel you sis, i really do.
i've always been jealous of the converts. they're so special. as innocent as a baby. i feel so little. i've known Islam my whole life, yet they're better muslims than me. i always wonder had i not been born a muslim, would i receive hidayah too? or would i forever be lost, never find my way back like they do? maybe that's why i was born in islam... and even so, i've failed myself many, many times before.
truly, being born a muslim is the greatest gift ever. but one which we always take for granted. we don't have to sacrifice just as much to embrace Islam. these converts fight for their new found faith. but why do we let it slip away instead? T_T
how about my hijab experience? hmmm. i've blogged about that briefly here.
i was a nine-year-old girl who wore hijab at school just because my ustaz told me to, and when i went to musollah to perform my prayer, i purposely let the boys catch a glimpse of my hair when or after i was taking wudhu'. it's just a glimpse, as though teasing them "hey look at my hair, it's so precious you're not gonna see them always!" i did the same too at sekolah agama. i wasn't properly and fully hijabbed at the time, so it was not a big deal if i did that right, it's not like the boys wouldn't see my hair elsewhere anyway. plus, i was nine. but yeah, a gedik nine-year-old maybe.
i wasn't gedik with boys, as in flirting and giggling and touching them (if you don't count the times when i was beating them up), but i was gedik in that way. i guess just like Freud's psychosexual stages theory, everyone needs to go through all phases, and gedik phase is one of them. if you're gonna be gedik, it's better sooner than later, right? hahahaha... k. why am i embarrassing myself like this, oh to get to the point.
the point is, now i'm a different person. i'm 19, and if a guy sees me without my hijab on, i think i would cry. i wouldn't know the difference between wearing hijab and not wearing hijab in term of society's treatment, since i started wearing it at a fairly young age. but maybe, maybe, this is why boys don't hit on me (this is strictly about hijab, we're excluding the factor of physical looks not being attractive enough here ok), why they don't simply offer their handshake, pat me on the back, playfully touching me, etc. not that some don't try though, and that's a puzzle i can't put together.
maybe it's because many girls wear hijab now, it has become common, even a trend to some, that they think of it as only a norm, not a protective covering which comes with many boundaries not only in appearance, but in actions as well. i believe almost every muslim in Malaysia is aware of the do's and the don't's, we all have the knowledge of Islam, but knowing isn't necessarily understanding.
pengetahuan > pemahaman > penghayatan.
just think of Irma Hasmie. she said after she started wearing hijab, guys treated her with respect, and there's no more incident of kisses on the cheek at award shows, if ya get what i mean. yes she was a free-hair, you could see her aurah, but that didn't mean you could touch it, right? but that's what usually associated with them free-hair, that they don't mind being touched by ajnabis. they are always underestimated.
i feel sorry for them, for human beings judge too soon. if hijabbed muslimahs face prejudice in western countries, free-hair muslimahs do too in muslim countries. and the latter i think, is sadder. for muslims should know about not being judgemental better.
so, i might not feel respected if respected is "wow, you wear hijab, i on behalf of males all around the world declare my respect for you" but maybe, by not getting kissed on the cheek, that's also a gesture of respect. even if guys don't even know it.
so girls, if you want to be respectfully ignored, put the hijab on! yes it limits what you can or can not do, but isn't that the whole point?
here's a true story experienced by yours truly.
i was having a bad day so i sought comfort in a lollipop, for the first time in years. licking to my heart's content, i bit the chewy part and guess what. in the middle of it were ants! i nearly cried, you don't understand the frustration ok. they found a way through the hole in the stick. that's why although on the outside it was perfectly wrapped (took time to unwrap it) and its pink and white body looked perfectly fine, i couldn't see the ants filling its core (brb vomit).
see? underestimated again. just because they don't cover themselves, doesn't mean they don't mind being surrounded by flies boys!
you know how muslimahs are compared to lollipops in term of covering their aurah to protect themselves from evil eyes and hands? now i see another way to compare them. even if we wear proper dress code, nobody knows what's hidden inside, not behind the hijab, but in our heart. holes in a heart make room for black spots, it becomes dirty, hard to be removed because it's sticky... just like the core of the lollipop. but the ants couldn't hide forever, right? so what will people do when they find out the real you?
i'm not one to wash an ants-filled lollipop and lick it back, so i dumped it straightaway (the same thing shouldn't be done if we're talking about humans though, but still, some people prefer dumping.)
hence a lesson from this tragic first world problem, tq.
i myself, have been wearing hijab for years that i often forget this is one of Allah blessings. what if i still expose my aurah? or what if i reveal it again like i used to? Allah helps me, so i shall say alhamdulillah. not everyone gets hidayah, but that's the point of dakwah :) i know that some free-hair girls are so much better than some hijabbed girls (even me ._.) in aspects of akhlak, ikhtilat, ibadah, but if they cover their aurah, it's not about being better than others, but it's about being the best version of themselves!
i feel so happy when my free hair friends show inclination towards wearing hijab, let alone if they actually start wearing it! don't worry girls, i will not expect you to be like those celebrities who upon starting to wear hijab, straightaway wear tudung labuh and become ustazah-like. of course it's good if you want to, but i believe consistent changes are just as good, if not better than drastic ones, as long as you're ikhlas and istiqamah :) that's what Allah likes too. insyaallah you'll get there. He knows, love, He knows.
girls who do not cover their hair are prettier with a hijab on and girls who cover their hair are prettier with their hijab off, but in the presence of their mahram only. your hair is the crown only the 'king' should see, for you are a queen of modesty :)
our hair is our dignity. no ajnabi man should know about it, so keep it as a secret. our hijab is our identity. it hides our secret, so wear it to keep our dignity untainted.
"Oh, it's the date already," I muse, as I glance at the clock on my laptop. 0200. Still early, to me. It's 'the date', not because something big is going to happen. Well, not at least in my life. It's 'the date', just because of the digit combination. Well, also because of weddings and other remarkable moments which are none of my concern others may experience.
Wait, what if 20.12.12 is unique for a reason? What if it's the one date to make us do extraordinary things - proposing to your high school sweetheart or confessing your unspoken feelings to the guy of your dreams or getting married underwater with a dolphin as your best man or realizing your life long ambition, say writing your first novel - not because we want to remember this date better and reminiscent over it later, but because we might not have another day to do so? What if there is no tomorrow?
Ah, The Mayans messing up with my brain. I laugh at myself for even thinking such a thing... or for spending my last day on earth doing absolutely nothing worth living and dying for, as I scroll down Tumblr and see yet another funny post making fun of the supposed 'Doomsday'. This time, I laugh at the absurdity of it all.
I turn on the tv. An airplane is shaking violently, and also violently, snaps into two, throwing off half its passengers screaming helplessly in the sky while the other half hold on to dear life. 'Alive', is its tittle. Ironic, seeing nobody will get out of it alive. The plane crashes to the ground and -
"What the...?" It goes black. No, not the plane. But the tv, and everything around me. Great. Black-out at this hour when everyone else is deep asleep. And I was just thinking of heating what's left of my pizza leftovers. I don't feel like going online anymore, and as I close my laptop screen, my only source of light, everything is pitch black. As dark as it can be. Not the kind of dark in which you can see your shadow or the outline of furniture, this is the kind in which you see nothing, not even your own figure.
I reach out for my cell phone slash torchlight and press a key. Wait, I press a key again. What? Now I press all the keys. Great. Dead battery at this very moment. I sigh, getting up off the couch and making my way to the stairs, my hands stretching out in front of me as not to knock anything down, wondering why the hell is there no light shade or whatsoever from the street lamps or something? Is this whole area down?
Arriving on the top of the stairs with success in term of no broken bone or swollen toe, I smoothly zombie my way to my room and jump on my bed. Ah, at least i get to sleep early tonight. Okay, early to me. It's a bit hot in here, with only a slight wind blowing through my window. Turning on the ceiling fan at full speed hoping the electricity will be restored soon, a thought strikes me if this has got anything to do with the day after today.... then I doze off to a dreamless sleep.
The blindingly shining morning sun wakes me up. It takes me a while to finally get up though, and as I do I realize I've been sweating. Don't tell me it's still black-out, but the non-spinning fan says it still is. I go down stairs and see my mom in the living room, talking on the phone.
"Your house too? I thought there's a problem with my fuse box. Hopefully they will fix it by 2 pm. Yes I wonder what will happen! It's so nerve-wrecking. The last episode..." with that word i know it is no longer worth eavesdropping. Moms and their soap operas.
I turn on my laptop to see a 70% remaining power left. I'm just going to entertain myself with the internet like i always do, black-out or not. I check out the last website I was on last night, Tumblr. I am about to start my scrolling routine when my eyes stop dead on a post. It says; "Is it just my hometown or other places have black-outs as well?" It has almost 14,000 notes. Over a night. Well, in my country part of the world. But a day it seems in others'. It is just a question, but one which creates responses.
"Where r u? The whole Aussie has interrupted power supply," the first comment. Followed by "My place too, im French, not sure about the whole country cuz there's no tv and news and all my laptop's gonna be dead in a few minutes idk whats happening??" A few other comments reporting their local's electricity condition, and then "We live across the globe and all of us have no electricity? Unless the electricity companies pull a prank on us or....", "stahp it its not funny nmore," a grammar nazi's comment in the middle of the chaos "*it's" and a frantic "guise im freaking out alrdyyy!"
Then there's one comment, a simple word, or should i say.. a simple arrangement of numbers.
"21.12.2012."
And all hell breaks loose.
disclaimer: this is a half-true story.
question: which part is true?
jeng jeng jenggggg.
So tomorrow is the day. the day some of us have been dreading, and the day some of us have been waiting for just to make a point to the ones who have been dreading it and say "HAHAHA SO MUCH FOR YOUR APOCALYPSE!"
or the dreading ones will be the one who laugh and say "TOLD CHAAA!" before they're dead too.
there are three types of people in this world. 1. the believers, 2. the deniers, 3. the whatevers.
1. The Believers.
Those who believe in the prediction. we can't really blame them... maybe they don't hold strongly their belief that nobody but God knows when the earth is going to crumble. maybe they are not tied to any faith at all, hence being lost and will believe anything that has the slightest clue of something bigger than them. maybe they have done their own 'research', see the pattern in numbers in the Quran or Bible or whatever, so they believe that they have discovered the secret message. maybe they are just being careful, so what if the world doesn't really end tomorrow? at least they tried, at least they've got nothing to lose, at least they've proposed or confessed or had a best man dolphin or written the first page of their first novel right?
i don't like it when people ridicule them. they just don't know. you don't know when is the end too right? this whole "bodoh mung kalo caye esok kiamat bodoh binge" is not the right way la. they wouldn't believe it in the first place if they believed what we believe right? so in a way if you think they're stupid, you're being arrogant thinking you're better than them. and i don't like you regardless of who you are.
btw, The Mayans didn't say anything about the end of the world. if anyone says their calendar marks the last day of the earth, it's not them. they just say it's the end of the cycle. they believe it's a new start.
2. The Deniers.
The deniers are not only those who make fun of 122112, saying "how does this work what about time zones? New Zealand please tag your apocalypse spoilers" which is really funny cos i once thought about this i mean will the whole world end simultaneously or will it be country by country as long as it's the 21st? i really enjoy these apocalypse jokes out of good humour.
but the deniers are also those who say "Don't believe it. It's not the end yet. Kiamat itu rahsia Allah, sedangkan Nabi pun tak tahu apetah lagi kita ni. mengarut je semua tu."
yes, you stay true to the teachings of Islam, but i think you should mind your wording. because you indirectly make it sound like you say the world won't end tomorrow. like you're so sure, indirectly means you are just the same as those who believe the world will end. because you're certain of something you don't know. when you say nobody knows except Allah, make sure you really know what you mean. it means you too, don't know when the world is going to end. it may not be tomorrow, and it MAY BE too.
"The end of the world? LOL"
i'm not in any way saying The Mayans were right, but here's some logic. just so you're careful with what you say. how do you know nothing will happen? after all, kiamat has a lot of phases... for all we know maybe it's the start of something, the beginning of the many events that will lead to the real armageddon. it's not like the movie 2012, the whole planet earth will be hit by meteors and the ground is gonna crack open revealing lava underneath our feet kinda stuffs. maybe it's something we don't even realize is happening, but Allah has marked the start of the last days of the earth. everyone knows that Allah alone knows about the day of destruction, but nobody knows if He will or will not let anyone know about it, right? again, not saying anything, just trying to make you see sense.
about the astronomy stuffs, they can be hidden truths or just rumours. NASA says nothing's gonna happen, but then again they don't know the only thing we do know which is no matter how good the condition of our planet is, if Allah wants something to happen nothing can stop Him. and NASA says it's impossible for the earth to reverse it's rotation, but all Muslims know it's one of the signs of doomsday. yeah that bit is creepy. scientists always wants evidence but all we need is faith. plus, even if there will be a collision of planets and whatnot, maybe disasters will happen, maybe nature will seek its revenge on us big time this time, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be the end of the world. or maybe 21.12.12 means something bad will happen, not in the form of doomsday, it can mean anything symbolic. or nothing at all. wallahualam.
my point is, we never really know, right? so stop saying something will happen or something will not happen. stop saying anything you know nothing about. share the hadith, the verses, it's good as reminders but don't simply talk using your own logic. cos i'm sick of Muslims making fun of it like they are 100% sure nothing will happen when in fact they 100% know nothing. i'm sick of them thinking they know Allah's words when at the same time they take it for granted.
boleh gerenti takde pape akan jadi? beringat je dahlah. tak perlu perkecilkan apa yang dah pasti atau obsess dengan apa yang kita tak taktau lagi.
menyampah pulak aku tengok budak-budak bajet bijak berhujah. just because you read things on the internet and you know all the chronologies of kiamat tak perlulah sampai cakap "aku konfem seratus peratus takkan ada apa jadi, aku dah kaji." kengkadang aku nak je pape jadi biar kau terberak terkencing time tu pastu aku nak tengok muka kau hahaha.
think. we say we should be ready at all times because we don't know when the end is, if we ever get to it, if we won't, we don't know when our end is. but now when there's a prediction about when it's going to happen, we stand tall saying "naaah it's nonsense." how sure are we? and are we ready? supposedly the world ends tomorrow and we're still not prepared, how are we ever going to be prepared when there's no prediction and anytime at all, it can happen? to me it's an irony.
3. The Whatevers
they don't give a damn about anything. they are cynical, they are in denial, they live by YOLO. if tonight's their last night alive, they will choose to spend the time of their lives or just go to bed like any other day.
i believe, if the world is really going to end, everyone will go back to their belief and faith be it any religion at all because that's our fitrah. we're humans, we need to know there's something bigger than us to keep it all together. and what other times than the end of the world to feel like we could use some help over here?
and i find it beautiful, for people to unite and rely on the ultimate power.
letih meniup habuk dari blog ni. ye dah agak lama aku tak update. kenapa?
mula-mula aku baca kat iluvislam pasal kekejaman Israel. then pasal Israel dan Yahudi, apa beza? kemudian dalami pasal ahli kitab. lepas tu, terbaca pulak The Vatican. konon pasal perbualan sorang mamat dengan orang kuat agama Yahudi.
menarik untuk dibaca, dan sangat membuka minda. aku tak skeptikal pasal konspirasi, malah agak into it, tapi tak percaya bulat-bulat. kalau betul, memang hebatlah yahudi untuk plan such thing for hundred of years. wallahuallam.
aku tengok The Arrivals dengan video The Wakeup Project yang lain. terbaca pulak pasal The Obama Deception. seterusnya pasal The Protocols of The Elders of Zion, New World Order, Illuminati, dan sepupu sepapatnya. sampai pulak dekat topik 2012, dari pelbagai sudut dan kononnya mungkin bukan the so called 'apocalypse' yang jadi, tapi satu era peradaban baru, mungkin time tulah New World Order ni direalisasikan, banyak lagilah. bukan tu je, aku siap baca pasal asal usul Hang Tuah and Co. sekali, adakah dorang ada kaitan dengan Hang Li Po?
itulah agenda aku selama beberapa hari aku hilangkan diri. tak tido malam baca pasal semua ni. salahkan forumer kat iluvislam. eh tak, salahkan diri sendiri sebab taknak ambil tau dari dulu.
satu kapal bantuan kena serang, wah kecoh satu dunia. memanglah kita takleh tolerate. masalahnya, aku peliklah jugak kenapa bila jadi benda macamni, kita baru nak gelabah?
oh tak, aku lupa. kita pernah gelabah. banyak kali sebenarnya, masa Iraq first time kena, pastu Gaza, pastu sepupu sepapat diorang. tapi lama-kelamaan, perasaan tu hilang. gelabah nak lebat masa awal-awal je. pum pang strike sana sini, memorandum melayang.
serangan ke atas satu kapal tu walaupun ramai terkorban, takda apa sebenarnya. yes the activists sure suffer as hell, and we, the comfortable folks reading my blog, have no idea at all. tapi kalau nak banding dengan penduduk Gaza, diorang tak heran dah.
kenapa kita kata Israel langgar undang-undang dunia, hak asasi manusia sebab diorang serang satu kapal misi bantuan? kenapa kita tak kata diorang langgar undang-undang dunia, hak asasi manusia sebab diorang ambik tanah orang lain, tindas, bunuh sebab tamak? kenapa?
oh aku lupe. sebab dalam dunia ni sebenarnya perang dibenarkan. ye tak salah perang. cuma ada beberapa syarat je, that fine lines which get crossed many times enough to anyone even bother. dah nama pun perang mestilah orang awam kena jugak, kau bukannya perang mulut.
memanglah kita patut selamatkan kapal Mavi Marmara, Rachel Corrie. kenapa kita tak sekecoh begitu untuk selamatkan mangsa perang? kita hantar memorandum, bising sikit je Yahudi dah kecut perut, terus tak berkeras, terus berlembut.
cubalah kalau kita buat macamtu demi mangsa perang. mesti Yahudi kecut jugak kan?
eh tapi sorrylah, kita takde hak sebenarnya nak stopkan perang. sebab perang tu dibenarkan undang-undang. patutlah Yahudi selamba badak je buat macam-macam, sebab walaupun diorang tahu the whole world is against them, diorang still boleh tampil selamba menjawab soalan reporter. sebab kalau setakat perang, diorang tak bersalah sebenarnya.
i'm questioning human value here. i dont know much, and i dont want to know. jangan suruh aku refer Internet, please. dulu masa aku rajin layan politik Malaysia pun sampai tak tidur malam godek internet, ni kan pulak isu global.
Celine Dion takleh salahkan mak aku, sebab walaupun bukan semua Jew jahat, tapi kebanyakan diorang memang tak berhati perut. tapi takpe, aku masih tak benci membuta tuli.
apabila anda fikir anda sempat menghabiskan ulangkaji dua minggu sebelum trial dalam mase seminggu tanpa henti tanpa tidur tanpa berfoya-foya kerana anda rase anda cukup tekad dan bersemangat; anda salah. selalunya pasti ade cobaan menunggu anda. ini menunjukkan sememangnya anda hanya mampu berkata-kata, tapi Allah lah yang kasi green lightnya.
aku demam pade saat saat akhir dan genting ni. aku rase sangat marah dan frust dan kecewa sampai air mata pun boikot tanak jatuh mase tengah sedih. kenapelah aku tak belajar awal awal. aku rase seminggu sangat cukup untuk aku belajar express habiskan SEMUA bab dari form 1, tapi time ni lah badan aku nak buat lawak bodoh.

tengok2 temperature badan 39.5 darjah celcius. holy moo. kementerian kesihatan ckp kalau suhu badan 38 je dah kena gi hospital kerajaan amek darah untuk h1n1. aku ni dah thp lebih drpd tu. long story short, doctor suruh aku dok rumah tiga hari, tanak jangkit kwn2 kalau ade virus. hish. sebab kwn2lah ni aku kena rugi tiga hari belajar habes semua bab kat sekolah, apelah dosaku. kalau jumaat still demam baru dtg klinik lagi.
aku rase aku memang kena h1n1. siap beli mask lagi. tayahla cerita detik menyedihkan aku amek langkah berjaga2 dan kuarantin diri kat bilik sorg2. sob sob.
aku time tu tak larat nak bukak mulut, so doa dlm hati. mintak jauhlah. aku paling takut kalau aku kena selsema babi ni, aku gi bawak kat mak aku. aku takpela, mude remaja, kuat lagi. nauzubillah la. nauzubillah. kalau aku dah kena pon, biarla mak aku tak kena. tapi mak aku tu immune system die lagi kuat drpd aku kot, so insyaallah takde pape.
aku kan paranoid.
KHAMIS: panas dah kurang. ok alhamdulillah. beberapa lame kemudian, aku loya2. asal minum air je nak muntah, tp tak. kemudian aku memang takleh makan. ni drpd hari selasa ar. aku takde selera langsung. mulut rase bercecair pahit. takleh makan. nak muntah. sedih takleh makan.
tetiba aku rase sesak nafas. ni dah melampau. breathing difficulty namenya ni.
aku siap BERUTUS EMAIL DENGAN SEORANG PEREMPUAN MAT SALLEH NAME ERICA DUDUK KAT US. die pernah kene h1n1. and sumpah die baekk gile. aku cerita semua kat die, kerisauan melampau, bebelbebel, mintak tolong die. DIE LAYAN AKU. best gile. die byk cerita ape kena buat, fakta, menenangkan aku, macam macam la. thanks erica ;D
frankly aku rase aku akan survive w/p kena h1n1 betul2 pun (nauzubillah). tapi aku takut family aku kena. pastu aku akan sgt MALU kalau aku kena pastu satu sekolah tau. aib aib.
"amalina mane yang kau terserempak kat disko tu weh?"
"alaa, amalina h1n1 tu"
***dialog rekaan semata mata.
JUMAAT: aku dah okay. cume masih tak boleh makan. dan aku dah PENAT MAKAN UBAT, PENAT FAHAM TAK. berpuluh2 pil aku telan satu hari, aku dah muakkk. biasenye aku suke je telan pil dua tiga sekali pon boleh, nak tunjuk hebat. tapi kali ni aku dah tak tahan. byk sgt ubat.
petang tadi gi klinik. doktor kate aku dah ok, alhamdulillah. asalkan tak demam berpanjangan, ok lah tu. cume aku angin je sebab dua hari makan bahulu je sebab tu jugak aku sesak nafas. but we'll never know, as the symptom comes and goes but the threat is still there.
aku tak boleh cerita banyak sgt kat sini, nnt korg cuak, erica je tau segala galanya (kawan baru weyh, haha).
symptom H1N1 yang aku pernah ade dlm minggu ni tp dah baek; demam panas gile, tekak sakit mengeluarkan cecair pahit, sakit sakit badan dan sendi, sakit kepala, sesak nafas, loya.
insyaallah aku takde pape dah. kalau ade pon maybe h1n1 ringan2 yg mcm RUPERT GRINT dpt tu je. aku google berjam jam pasal h1n1 ni, aku masih rase aku tak selamat sepenuhnye, terlalu awal untuk bersorak.
swine flu ni die mcm selsema biase, pretty much. cume die dikecohkan sebab swine flu ni virus baru, so die dah bermutasi and orang takut die jadi lagi teruk drpd selsema laen (sebenarnya berpuluh ribu jugak orang mati sbb selsema biase, tp tak jd headline). kire the doctors dont know what to expect la. and dorg jugak risau yang selsema babi 2009 ni jadi mcm 1918 something dulu, time tu 50 juta orang mati sebab selsema tu. tapi aku tak ckp flu ni tak bahaya. symptom die pulak bukan semua kite kena dlm satu mase. die laen2. dua hari lepas maybe korg demam panas, semalam korg loya dan cirit birit, harini korg selsema dan batuk pulak. lima hari pastu korg demam panas balik. u got what i mean. die dtg dan pergi.
marilah kite doa allah jauhkan bala ni dr kite. aku yang kena ringan tu pun aku dah cuak dan mule fikirkan worst case scenario yang akan jadi kat org tersayang because frankly, i care what happens to me less than i do for people i love. selfish, i know.
takziah kepada empat orang yang dah meninggal sebab penyakit ni. yang latest budak perempuan 20 tahun tu, doctor boleh tak sangke die ade h1n1, sgt ignorant. lepas meninggal baru nak cek. kalau tak diorg tak kesah sebab symptom die sikit je. tolongla, doctor2 sekalian. awak tu bermain ngn nyawa orang, bukan anak patung. aku tak boleh lah bab2 nyawa ni.
KERAJAAN pulak, PLEASE STOP SAYING ITS ALL UNDER CONTROL. I WANT TO MAKE IT AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE, WILL IT BE UNDER CONTROL IF YOUR LOVE ONES WERE THE ONES SICK WITH ALL THE SYMPTOMS AND WERE ADMITTED TO THE ICU?
speaking for people and speaking with u as one of the people are totally two different things.
thanks to kak nurlin, kali ni aku betul betul sedar pasal Mighty Minds tu.
soalan mcm gilalah. seriously. dan aku tak ready pape lagi.
mostly not ready for general knowledge, no idea of what to read? where to start? yelah general knowledge kan like probably keluar pasal the whole world ONLY.
serious gila. kali ni betul betul nampak langit itu sangat tinggi dan tidak rendah. (ape pon yg lagi rendah dari aku? gahaha)
since connection is so unbelievably frustrating, AGAIN, so i cant use the online encyclopedia every single day. what i have to do now is just read math and science. which, neither i have done with much determination. hanya highlight mane2 bab yang tak disentuh lagi je.
gosh there is absolutely not a tiny possibility for me to win this. but i take it as something fun and not something i have to burn my midnight oil for. its a new challenge, a new experience for me. and the best yet i know would happen is that contestants will be eating mouthwatering nikmat dunia sponsored by McDonald!
dahlah esok ujian. gila sekolah ni. hari cuti korg buat ujian. wajarlah kalau aku tak belajar pape pon lagi. friday is a lepak day lah, the start of a weekend.
tapi kang kalau aku buat perangai mereng tak blaja, result turun nanti dah dikecam oleh orang-orang yang tak puas ati tgk hidup aku senang.
terpaksalah bace sikit. tu pon malam ni. kain2 yang terendam dalam baldi tu dah lame menjerit dengan makian suruh aku basuh mereka. yelah, yelah.
tribute to MICHAEL JACKSON, an idol which wrote a history for the world of his own, one of the greatest entertainer that can never be replaced by anyone.
i was really shocked to find out about his sudden death, and somehow i feel sad for him. maybe it was out of pity, seeing his pathetic life; from on-the-top-of-the-world superstar until what had he became on his deathbed today. it must had been so awful living as Michael Jackson, i applaud him for being so strong given how much suffer and issues he had to face.
imagine if we were him, what would we do?
i bet some of us were already overmedicated thinking how we were being evicted from our mansion, i bet some of us have already drank pesticides thinking how our great life once and great experiences had to be sold so that we could afford to buy half of our mansion back, i bet some of us have been laying on the railway, thinking how our habit of loving children could be the reason for us to be nearly convicted by the act of sexually harming young children. i bet some of us have already carved our face with a knife thinking how more wrong could we be by making hideous plastic surgery.
he was superbly strong, man.
even the plastic surgery he underwent wasnt because he hated to be a black or something. i have long known that firstly he wanted to do a nosejob only, but badly after that he had some skin disorder which reduced his skin pigment. being a billionaire and not a muslim who would go to hell by changing physical appearance, why not he change his skin colour terus? he thought his skin would be fine again, and he would have a better look.
but the plastic surgery had failed and one thing led to another, one failure led to another surgery, and every surgery had made him look nothing but awful and scary.
imagine the pain and regret he felt, if only he didnt do those things. i believe the regret and the pain of unable to undo a thing that cost almost all your life hurts much than experiencing thousands of surgery.
what more when he was charged abusing kids, labeled as a molester. He pleaded guilty and was free of all chargers but that didn’t mean he didn’t have like 20 million dollar to pay for the court issue.
i just pity him, he was used of being wealthy and famous and lovable and people would cry when seeing him on stage, but later he had to face false accusations, being hated by his fans, and he would melt when his skin wasnt in good condition, especially not good with sunlight.
know about the time when he had to be taken to a hospital by an ambulance during his stage show? it was due to the melting of his face, if im not mistaken. something involving his skin.
kesian.
his death brought about the same atmosphere just as when JFK died. hundreds of his devoted fans boleh bercamping lagi depan hospital yang tengah bedah siasat die. Ape tah lagi from all the people around the globe. they were shocked.
tanyelah mana2, sape2 pon, semua kenal die. cube tanya mak aku kenal tak taylor swift? tak dapat.
Michael Jackson was the first black who was a phenomenon, able to reach success in THE STATES, where black dudes usually weren’t given the chance to be on top of white people. Way before oprah winfrey. Way before tiger woods, even way before barrack obama.
with his mistakes or without it, he had touched people's lives in many different ways.
plus, rumors said he had converted into islam, but i dont know whether it is true or not. channel berita melayu kat astro ni siap cakap yang die gi haji last year. and abang die yang bwat press conference about michael's death, ended his speech with
"may allah always be with him"
dengarnya macamtu. i hope so. i cant help feeling sad for non muslims yang baek; it is a shame they are not muslims. if they were, some of them dah tentu jadi lebih baek dan perfect drpd muslim sebenar mcm aku ni.
I am not a fan of him, tapi Michael Jackson tu incomparable doe. Personally I think takde musician or artist yang macam die or elvis-type-of-people zaman sekarang ni. Name it, but he was the end of an era, the end when people went hysteria and passed out during his stage performance.
it is weird for me to talk about him like this, but is that a wrong thing?
H1N1 has increased very abruptly in malaysia. if im not mistaken (harini tak bace paper), 4 schools stay closed, while maybe 3 schools have had some of their classroom quarantined.
'orang orang atasan' said if the matter are to get worse, all the schools in malaysia would be closed. yeay. i'm tired of normal, borink days sampai bnda serious mcm ni pon aku nak gembira.
the thing is, kenape sekolah perlu ditutup, tapi kenape tempat kerja tidak ditutup? doesnt it seem relevant on what i am conveying here?
work place is still a dangerous place, as much as school is. why? is it because people are employed to work, thus they dont have any right to take safety measures? or they do, but then they have to be unpaid? or fired?
even if the son is quarantined at home and positive not infected by the flu, still his parents are free to go to public places such as work and supermarkets. that would make them equally threatened with the disease. it would be either his mom or dad that would bring home the virus, and contaminate the whole family, whether his son undergo a quarantine or not kan?
entahlah, i'm just worried of swine flu. if any of my family member, relatives, friends or associate is infected, i swear i would kill every living pig in the whole world. even if the flu isnt actually their fault.
OMG. aku baru tau yg MRSM SERTING, menang lower secondary untuk state level dalam mighty minds. its on the net. aku kenal mereka2 yg masuk tu. they were my friend!
takleh banyak pressure lagi ke?
dude aku takkan menang first round pon.
cikgu kat mrsm serting tu semua tolong budak2 yang masuk tu. grrh.
dan aku?
terkebil2 sorg2 depan pc yang internetnya mcm haram.
aku taktau mane nak start, aku taktau nak search ape dlm online encyclopedia,
aku rase kan, aku ni self-absorbed la pulak kan. dunia tengah tunggang terbalik dengan segala macam hal, aku dok sebok je cakap pasal diri sendiri. isk isk isk.
so meh bayar hutang.
gaza tengah menderita, aku satu ayat pon tak cakap pape. nak cakap la ni.
memang takleh nak buat ape la kan. dah dunia serba moden ni menghalalkan perang, sape aku nak jerit2 suruh berhenti? betul perang sekarang boleh dilancarkan weh, tapi kena mengikut sesetengah peraturanlah. dan walaupon peraturan ni tak dibenarkan tetapi kerana perang dah dilancarkan, so we cant do either without another iaitu : membunuh orang awam ketika, jika tidak siapa nak dijadikan tebusan dan borink lah pulak kan nak tembak sesama tentera, meh bom tadika kat situ. meh bet berapa orang boleh keluar menggelupur berdarah2. kan seronok.
dah malas aku nak sarkastik lelebih. benda ni akan terus jadi. dulu masa iraq jadi sasaran, kita bukan maen lagi dengan united nation bermesyuarat sini sana, boikot merata2. tapi in the end, tak jadi papepon. sorryla mmg aku yg dasar ignorant kalau ade salah fakta kat sini. tapi mengikut pemerhatian aku, they left because they got what they wanted. after all maybe they left because what they wanted had gone, lost in the battlefield.
dudukla kat UN tu selama mana, tapi selagi peraturan perang tu dibenarkan, sampai bila bila pon korg tak boleh stop israel. sekarang tanye diri la kan, sape yang memberi hak utk org berperang? pemimpin2 yang sgt bertanggungjawab tu. skg bila dah jd camni, sebok bermesyuarat. kalau awal2 kau buat peraturan execute orang yang mulakan perang, kan dah tak jadi camni. sekarang kau nak buat pape kat pemimpin zionis pon tak boleh, sebab dalam buku peraturan kau tu, die tak salah. dan dlm buku peraturan kau tu jugak, kau takde hak nak tangkap or gantung dia. kau cuma boleh bincang. meh tgk berapa byk nyawa yg diambil sementara kau nak capai sefahaman tu.
haa ni hal boikot memboikot lak. aku taktau asal, aku agak tak gemarla memboikot nih. bukan sbb aku craving mcdonald, malah bagus jugak ade sebab tak makan mcdonald kan. kalau nak fikir diet je, mmg aku kalah ngn bau doublecheeseburger. tapi aku tak sepenuh hati dalam isu boikot ni sebab, fikir open sikit lah kan. kita nak boikot barang zionis, sebab sekarang every penny yang produk zionis dpt, maybe akan digunakan untuk beli senjata. senjata untuk membunuh penduduk gaza. tapi, in the process of boycotting and all, other people will be affected tau. its not just us, the party who want to boycott kotex and the party who owns kotex, they are kotex maker, kotex designer, kotex promoter, kotex seller, and party who makes money from supplying things to kotex and co. nampak tak? orang yang kerja kat kilang kotex pon akan terjejas. dan dorg takde kena mengena langsung ngn pengeboman kat gaza.
ya dgn memboikot barangan zionis kita mungkin dapat rugikan dorg. tp at the same time ramai pekerja akan dipecat. dah tertera dah berapa puluh jenama yang bawah israel dan pihak yg sokong israel, jadi maksudnya adelah jugak dalam beratus ribu org yang tak bersalah nanti kebuluran. tengok kat malaysia je lah kan. tanpa isu boikot pon pengangguran dah merata2, kerja susah nak dapat walaupon nak jadi office cleaner, ni kan pulak lepasni bila syarikat tu semua dah bungkus pastu perkerja semua kena buang. tak kesian ke? bukan salah dorg. dorg tak de sumbangan ape ape pon kat israel, dorg nak suap anak bini makan bnda halal je.
hah? kau tanye aku sape lagi kesian? penganggur atau gaza? bangang sgtla kan kalau aku ckp penganggur lagi menderita. so i see the concept now; in order to save millions of souls from being harmed in gaza,a mission that isnt confirmed to be accomplished, we have to sacrifice other people's job, and let them dig the money from the ground. okay. bolehla jugak terima sebab bukan aku yang kerja kat kilang maggi. selfish? sedar pon.
malaysia ni kecik weh. negara2 yang memboikot ni semua kecik2. pihak dr negara besar yang boikot pon kecik2. israel and co sgtlah besar kuasa dan besar jumlah wangnya. ingat boikot ni boleh berjaya? mungkin sedikit, tapi tak menjejaskan pon. kalau kerajaan dan pemimpin kita nak sgt kita boikot israel, habis kenapa tak hentikan kemasukan barang2 import tu? kau bajet nak suruh kitorg berhenti makan kfc, walhal lori kfc tu bahagia je lalu lalang hantar supply baru. bila aku ckp camni adela yg fikir tu, melampaula sampai haramkan semua produk. dan akan berbalik kepada soalan aku tadi, mana org malaysia nak cari makan klu sumber pendapatan mereka dah diharamkan? dan aku pon cakap, bukan korg ke yg semangat memboikot? bukan takpe ke korbankan periuk nasi orang kita untuk gaza? so ape nak kesian kesian? dan soalan aku tu berbalik sekali lagi pada korg.
negara yg nak memboikot ni pon, sebelum ni sebok nak bergantung kat produk2 US, israel. kata produk tempatan tak berkualiti. dah memang pon. ataupon produk tempatan mmg berkualiti, cuma org tak nmpk sbb produk luar drpd negara yg lg maju pon terletak sebaris dgn produk kita kat pasar raya. mana nak beli? susu giant ke, susu nestle? kalau korg beli susu giant walaupon pendapatan korg mcm bapak menteri, mmg standing ovation lah.
kan senang kalau malaysia mmg ada jenama yang bagus sendiri. yang betul2 bagus sampai kite tak pandang dah produk luar. kalau kite ade pad setanding kotex, susu setanding nestle, dan burger setanding doublecheeseburger mcd. time tu kite takkan terasa pon isu boikot ni, sbb kebanyakan kite tak bergantung kat produk luar tu. kecualilah certain mak datin yang ckp 'i ade celaass' walaupun produk tempatan pun takde beza ngn produk luar. kalau kite dah ade produk mcmtu, kite tak perlu dahh import2 barang2 luar ni, dan bila ade peperangan dan usaha kecil boikot diperlukan, kite takkan terjejas. takkan kne gari diri sendiri drpd pergi melahap pizza hut.
aku tau aku cakap je lebih. bebel berpanjangan. aku sgt 360% pasti yg barisan pak menteri dan org bertanggungjawab negara kite dan negara laen ni lebih sejuta kali ganda boleh fikir drpd aku. tetapi mungkin dorg simpan fikiran bernas dorg tu dalam peti atas sbb tertentu kot. maybe ada sebab yang munasabah, maybe tak. lagipon, ape yang aku tau? aku hanya tau berckp apa yg aku tak puas hati. dah nama pon remaja kan.
yaa aku seorg budak 15 tahun yang korbankan masa buat homework untuk blog pasal isu ini, di mana semua kata2 aku hanyalah bebelan semata. aku tau aku tak layak pon nak bukak mulut pasal hal sebesar ni. tapi kalau org laen boleh, kenapa aku tak boleh? ini kan negara demokrasi. terbukalah sikit bila dengar pandangan yang tak sehaluan dgn pandangan korg. aku teringat kata kata dlm buku Menggapai Bintang ;
"ni maybe kali terakhir aku amek final ngn budak2 ni. next year pmr, the next year lg ramai lak yg nak bermigrasi. aku nak hayati saat ni"
budak2 laki mcm biase, tp dgn extra effort untuk jadi bising, mereka pon berlari2 kejar2ran dlm kelas. tergelak2 sakan. budak pompuan, mcm budak pompuanlah. mesti dorg sme nak release tensyen kan. so thats whylaa berperangai mcm beruk sikit. hahaaaa
rase seronok lak aku. seronok tgk dorg sme camni. dua c satu *background music~
aku masuk krk first time dulu, aku tak ske. sbb aku takde kwn. budak2 from sklk dah ade click masing2 and the rest ialah budak melawati n dua org budak dr permata ngn bukit indah tersesat. mule2 mmg takleh nak ngam ngn mane2 pon.
so aku pon blah ke mrsm serting. tbe2 aku masuk balik krk, adus malu takyah ckp ah. budak kuar asrama. tapi krk yg terbaik, so aku buat muke tembok je la.
dulu boys ngn girls memang SUMPAH MCM ANJING NGN KUCING. nak bercakap secara normal pon takleh, ni kan plak nak flirt (not that i have/had any intention for that). asek gaduh je. memang tak leh ngam. masing2 bleh tak tegur langsung utk sehari. tegur pon utk mencari pasal. pastu tengking menengking memanjang. gila ah.
dan sekarang, naseblaa walau tak serapat mane, blehlaa gak nak campur ngn dorg. tapi sebab majo mereka ni berfikiran sempit, so bila laki pompuan rapat or cakap sikit, ade potential utk jd cte hot. so tu salah satu sebab mcm ade wall la separates us.
i admit i want to see all of us to be a family. tapi takpelah at least now better than dulu. pastu aku sure most of the boys ade ego dorg yg konon cam unik lah. dorg bila ade gang, ramai2, tak ckp lgsg ngn pompuan. buat tak kenal. tapi bila dorg sorg2, atau dua tiga org je, cerita mcm2 semua boleh. sampai kitorg si perempuan malas nak layan. haha. which class lagi yg ade perangai mcm kitorg ni??
and pnah budak pompuan kelas kitorg, dulu2, sbb tak tahan sgt ngn perangai laki dorg gi hantar surat layang memaki hamun budak laki. credit to the gossip girls la, alaa gang yg kecoh2 tu. dua tiga org je dapat sampai semua nak backup marah2 pompuan. tapi last2, bawa kebaikan gak ah surat tu sbb semua da ok dan tak bersifat sexist. kan kan?? and sekarang walaupon budak pompuan ade gap tapi kitorg memang boleh campur. rase best sgt. tak taulaa asal excited semcm ni. datang bulan kot. kahkah. gelak laa weeei.
kelas kitorg ni mcm2la, kne pggl kaunseling laa. bukanlaa sbb perangai teruk ke ape, tapi sebab *rahsia*. pastu penah jadi record breaker (psl kejadian kat sanggar bahasa, xkan xingat?) and mcm2 lah. walaupon si laki2 semua ade sedikit blue (alaa sape tak?), kire dorg maybe the best dalam kalangan student form two. kire agak ok laa kan perlakuan semua.
kitorg laki pompuan mane ade pegang2 bertepuk bertampar, manade secare depan2 saling bercakap lucah walaupon atas dasar gurauan, and tahlaa aku just rase yg we're the best lah. haha. even tcer pat pon ckp kelas kitorg yg terbaik, despite perangai budak2 laki yg bising, melawan, dan memeningkan. terharu tu :D
i've planned to write about two c one lah. a longggggggggg one. include all the issues, the stupid things, the juicy news, the gossips, and it will be awesome. bndanya aku takdelaa ngn dorg selama dorg ade kat sekola ni kan. kire aku sbnanye baru setahun satu suku je tu. so nawa wani haje milah ke sape2 ke, i hope u can write about our class. u know them best kan.
sbb nilai sentimental nilah, another fact that i've got three days left in this year to be with them, makes me feel odd. i feel a bit sedeh and i dont know why before ni aku laa queen ponteng yg dikenali, tapi skrg aku rase taknak cuti sekolah.
aku nak camni ; kite sekolah sepanjang tahun, kecuali pape cuti lah and kite boleh amek cuti bile2 kite nak. ade had lah kan. mcm org kerja. maybe 15 hari maximum tanpa surat yg disahkan.
TANPA SURAT OKKKK. terbaik bukan??? haha. vote me for the election then. and i will change malaysia. we can change (obama).
speaking of obama, obama menang!
p diddy black eye peas the jackson family sme support die weh!
mane taknye dorg kan black --"
teringat lagu michael jackson ; black and white X)
anddd, malam ni heroes volume three oh!!!
three words :
not another inspiring story written by a man. cancel the sour, the bitter. add the sweets. nope. for a person like me, freedom writer is deep. it is meaningful.
i am so touched by the movie, the story.
the pain the kids had felt, its awful. the racial issues they had, ALHAMDULILLAH MALAYSIA is a harmony multiracial happy yippy country. people were murdered everyday, in fact, they ARE. those craps about killing for the sake of their race is just stupid. but truly, if we were in their shoes, god knows what we'll do. sedehsedehsedeh. it is. please watch and swim to the depth, u'll know.
maybe i'm not grateful enough. but this is what i wanna say. the kids know what each other feels. they understood. they've been through the same pain, cuma cara tu lain. they are hurt, they are the same but they are blocked by their color. which means, they actually have each other.
tak teruk kan kalau kite ade prob, tp kite tau org lain pon rase benda same, maybe worse. at least takdela org yg cakap pasal how truly best hidup dorg. but when u have problems, and other people are completely happy, or they do have problems like involving their furry row with their hiskul sweethearts, it feels bad.
like whenever u want to talk about it, they give u stares like they dont give a damn.
like whenever u want to talk about it, they nod but they are daydreaming behind those opened eyes,
like whenever u want to talk about it, u know they wont understand.
the real Miss G
this kids in the movie were brutally abused, were having such real nightmares. but in the end with the help of an unbelievably RARE teacher, they change. Miss G had changed them in a sweet way. i'm proud of her. i respect her. agak pelik kalau cakap macamni pasal watak fiction, tapi miss G ni manusia betul ok? she has this girl power. i want to be the kids. i want to meet her.
