Imaginative much, eh?

Salam Maulidur Rasul! lets practice his sunnah as many as possible, make this day the first and many to come ;)

i plan to spend this public holiday working on my essay. after the perbahasan and syarahan 'proposal', which i delightedly said no to, but wish i have the talent and the confidence in the first place to say yes, now here comes another summon. Teacher Pat asked Kembar, Peqah and I to enter this one story writing competition.

the theme enough is beyond my imagination. something on how multiracial society in Malaysia lives harmoniously together, and it has to be something in education atmosphere.

writing is my thing. the thing i feel i was good at when i was in lower form. but now, i am participating as an upper former (is there such word?), against other schools which are sure to choose the best fifth formers not to mention Chinese that is freaking good at making up fictions with mind boggling sentences. narrowing the scope, you will find me pathetically trying to outdo Peqah and Kembar's excellent writing skill and wide vocab range. even if i am to compete with them, i will rank in the last place. Kembar even once wrote some sci-fi in a notebook.

while me? i said i'm good at essays, not stories. at laying out facts, not fictions. at imagining in my head, not transforming them into words. i aspire to be writer, but in this case, i'm a failure. story about multiracial kids in school? i never have any non-malay friends! so to write based on experience, nope.

i know i wont win, but i will take this challenge. as it is something i can actually do, although not maximally potential at. and even if i end up writing craps, i wont have to be humiliated in front of audience. i'm a competitive kinda person, so winning has always been my desire. thats why this is a big thing to me because i will avoid writing something typical like Abu was hit by a car, then Chin and Raju helped him up. they both walked him to his house, and became friends for life.

oh not-cliche-ideas, please struck me quickly.
