My second monthly test was a disappointment.
let's see.
Biology, the hardest science paper i've ever taken. i still see Bio as Science, more than Physics and Chemistry. seriously, science is my thing man. during lower secondary years i've never had a B. this time, even getting a B will make me cry with gratefulness.
Physics, lucky enough my teacher told us to do some exercises in a book. but so stupid of me to not even bother to open it. i didnt know ALL THE FREAKING QUESTIONS ARE FROM THAT BLOODY BOOK! turned out its enough if i have just remembered the answer scheme.
Chemistry, dont get me started.
now what happened? the so called student who got the highest mark in those subjects cant even make it in a supposedly simple monthly test. seh tuh pid la me, haiyaa.
my mom is cool, she always is, i'm the one who's fretting even if i get an A-. i know teachers got way too many things to think, but i cant erase the assumption that they are disappointed in me. who am i? the classy nation's representative? hell no.
most of all, i think i'm worried about what people will say more than what i get. if the world is up to me, i couldn't care less. but the world is flooded with busybody people peeking their nose at other people's business, for instance at my grades.
which i honestly dislike. if they talk about what you do well, they WILL talk when you don't.
do you know how its like
being expected to get 100%? to get the highest mark? to be the best?
i feel like kicking their buttocks whenever my name is mentioned to KONONNYA be all that. what if i dont get as said? i'm not a robot, i'm merely a human being who sometimes want to let loose and be free!
its not that i'm ungrateful or anything. i just dont like that kind of attention. cos if i fall, people will know. cant people just mind their own grades and leave me alone with mine?
i know this ujian isnt going to end well for me.
where can i start to blame?
maybe my menstrual cycle. you know how you get easily tired, headache and cramps during that period right? at least we girls do. so that might be a contributing factor for my failure. i take a 30 minutes break (nap) every 30 minutes of studying.
maybe its just me. i know some people dont believe it, but trust me ujian kali ni will speak for how i study dulu dan sekarang.
I STUDIED A NIGHT BEFORE THE PAPER. GET IT?
you better. i've yelled at some idiots who dont believe it and expect i study every effing day and think i lie because i want to be called a 'genius'. WTH DUDE?
are you serious? how can you ever think of that?
whatever.
yes, i studied about six hours for any paper. i did it since forever, and i did it for the mid term exam. which alhamdulillah, my results are satisfying. maybe too good to be true till i dont deserve to get those grades anymore.
ujian 2 tu aku study 6 jam memang tak sempatlah. untuk mid term a day a subject, so six hours were spent for each subject. but ujian 2, a day 3 subjects. how could i study 3 subjects in 6 hours? well, obviously i couldn't, thats how my ujian 2 result is bad.
last year i didnt get any B. imagine if i fail a subject. get ready fellas, expect a flood anytime soon.
then suddenly, a wave of optimism hit me. hey, i should be thankful to god right?
for He's giving me the chance to realize my mistake. if i'm too comfortable with my results, i will never know how studying a night before the exam can be disastrous. i will get away every time and i will think i will still be lucky the next time. what if ujian 2 was final exam? SPM?
so in a way, it's a good thing. its better that i get the wake up call now than later. only i hope this time, it lasts forever. cukup2lah dengan hangat2 tahi ayam aku, isk.
there's always next time to improve :)
